How do I switch my monthly re-scans on or off?
Open Your sites. Under Monthly re-scans, two switches control it: Re-scan my projects every 30 days and Email me the result. Both are on for every account until you switch them off, and switching one off never touches the other.
-
What gets re-scanned, and when
Every site in Your sites is a project. Thirty days after a project’s last finished site scan, we run the same site scan again and add it to that site’s history. A site scan you start yourself restarts the 30 days.
Only sites in your account are re-scanned. Remove a site from Your sites and its re-scans stop; delete your account and they all stop. Scanning a single page never starts a schedule.

Switch the re-scans or the email off
Open Your sites. If you have only one site, Your sites opens that site’s page, and the same Monthly re-scans section is there. Untick Re-scan my projects every 30 days to stop the re-scans, or untick Email me the result to keep the re-scans and stop the emails.
The switches belong to your account, not to one site. Saved. confirms the change; if your browser has no JavaScript, press Save after you tick or untick.

What each monthly email says
Each email comes from scans@milkmoonstudio.com and names the site, its new score and the last score we published for it, and links the full report and Your sites. If a re-scan couldn’t finish, or couldn’t read the site, the email says that instead of printing a score.

If you stop signing in
If you haven’t signed in for about three months, we email you to say the re-scans will pause unless you sign in within a week. If you don’t, we pause them and email you once more. Signing in at any point starts them again.
That pause is separate from your own switch: a switch you turned off stays off until you turn it back on.
