How do I use the launch checklist?

Open the checklist

Press Learn in the header and choose Webflow SEO & AEO checklist. It is the list we work through before any Webflow site launches, 52 items in seven phases, with how to do each one. It is free to use and needs no account.

Start with the ten first

Do these ten first picks the ten items with the best impact for the effort across the whole list, each with the phase it belongs to. After those, work through the phases in order. Seven phases, beside the list on a wide screen, jumps to any phase and shows how many of its items you have ticked; on a narrower screen, Jump to a phase at the top of the list does the same.

Read an item

Each item has a title, two ratings and a line on what it is. Impact and Effort are the checklist’s own ratings, not Bot Appétit’s scoring; How to read it, near the top, says what each level means. Press How to do it to open the item: What, How and Why, and for many items where to find it In Webflow, with code to copy where there is some.

Tick it off

Tick the box beside an item’s title when it is finished. Your progress counts the ticks across the whole list, such as “2 of 52 done”, and each phase keeps its own count.

Your progress stays in this browser. Nothing is sent to us. Come back in the same browser and your ticks are still there. Another browser or another device starts from nothing, and so does a private window once you close it.

Start again

Press Reset progress. It asks “Reset your checklist progress?” and says every tick in all seven phases is cleared, and that this can’t be undone. Press Reset progress again to clear them, or Cancel to keep them.
