How do I share a scan?
A page report already has a link anyone can open: press Copy link and send it. A site scan is private to your account until you press Create a share link. Whoever opens either one needs no account, and you can stop sharing a site scan at any time.
-
Share a page report
At the bottom of the report, under Link to this scan, press Copy link. Anyone who opens it sees this exact scan, saved as it was, and the link doesn’t expire. Copy result + link, at the top, copies the result with the link, ready to paste into a message.
Someone who opens the link from a message sees “Someone shared this scan with you.” above the report, with a line on what Bot Appétit checks.
-
Share an earlier scan
Every scan in the history has its own link. Open the one you want from This page over time, then copy its link the same way.
-
Share a site scan
Open the run from Your sites, or press Share beside it in the site’s list of scans. Its Link to this scan box says the scan is private to your account. Press Create a share link, then Copy link.
Anyone with that link can read the whole report, every page and every finding, without an account of their own.
-
Stop sharing a site scan
Press Stop sharing in the same box and confirm. The link stops working for everyone who has it, straight away. Sharing again makes a new link, so the old one stays dead.
